Santa Clara Pottery Huge Rare Size-Signed
SANTA CLARA POTTERY
RARE LARGE SIZE HUGE 9 1/2" diameter by 6" tall Santa Clara Pottery
STUNNING ART PIECE SANTA CLARA POTTERY signed by Frances Salazar RARE LARGE SIZE-HUGE 9 1/2" diameter by 6" tall This pottery creation was purchased at the Wind River Trading Post in Fort Washakie, Wyoming in 1969. It has been in my possession ever since. I have been told that this size piece, in this pottery modality, is not being created any more. This piece is in Mint condition. The bottom shows some normal scuffing, but no cracks, chips, repairs, or breaks are found. I recently broke my grandmothers bread bowl and I do not want to break this. The only not perfect aspect of This bowl is that it has some green floral clay stuck in the interior bottom. I once had a floral piece in it at one time. My intention is to find a way to gently remove this but it is tenacious. If you look for Santa Clara Pottery on the internet, you will find smaller pieces for this price and near this price. Thanks for looking. I have listed shipping as $145, but I will charge less if the shipping cost to you is significantly less. $145 Shipping/Handling/Insurance is to the continental USA only. Other shipping can be arranged for an additional fee. Local Pick Up in the Sacramento, CA area can be arranged. Richard Greeves Bronze Sculpture-"Koe Mah" Numbered and Signed
VINTAGE ART PIECE- Richard Greeves Bronze Sculpture
VINTAGE ART PIECE-BRONZE SCULPTURE by RICHARD GREEVES "KoeMah" (Kiowa Woman) Black Marble Stand Signed and numbered. This piece brings a quiet calm and peace to the room where it stands. #3 of only 12 pieces created-by the Artist on the back of the bronze piece. This bronze is 27" high and the detail is impeccable. Koe-Mah is her name and she is Kiowa Woman. She stands elegantly with dignity and grace. She carries her child with her. Her hands are detailed down to the veins. The ties on her moccasins are awesome. She wears tiny beads, each one carved with admirable detail. You will love this piece as I have. This piece was purchased at the Wind River Trading Post near Lander, Wyoming in 1969-70. This was also The studio of Richard Greeves at that time. It was my understanding it was a current peice so the age would be around that date. This art piece is number Three of Only TWELVE created. Exquisite as his art always is. There is one flaw in the marble base, making this piece near mint. A tiny chip in the black marble stand. 3/8" in diameter-see photo. I am reducing the price by $500 to reflect this imperfection. Otherwise this piece is mint. A great rendition of a Native American Woman and Mother. A must for any serious collector of Native American Indian Art. This piece does brings a quiet calm and peace to the room where it stands. Shipping within the continental USA is $500 for Shipping/Handling/Insurance. This piece will need professional packing and handling. Other arrangements can be made. Shipping outside of the continental USA can be arranged. Sand Painting-Navajo Style
STUNNING ART PIECE *NAVAJO ? SAND PAINTING* "Mother Earth and Father Sky" not signed. Rarely do you find Sand Painting this HUGE. FRAMED 26 3/4" X 40" and Unframed 22" X 36" This Sand Painting creation was given to me by my Uncle. He worked in Utah with the bureau of Indian Affairs and his said one of the Navajo Native Americans he knew would do Sand Painting for him. I do not know the name of the artist and the piece is not signed. I only have my Uncle's word that it was done by a Native American person. It is stunning, however, and appears to be authentic. You be the judge and check out the photos. There is some reflection off the glass in some pictures, the sand is not faded or discolored. I am offering this piece at a conservative price because there is not a signature. I have had this piece framed in the same frame since it arrived in my home in the mid-1960's. This is Mother Earth and Father Sky. Their arms and legs are crossed because you never see them separated. The sun is shining on the seeds in the womb of Mother Earth and Father Sky has the moon and stars. The white beetle is present. The White Beetle was commissioned by the Great Father to put the Stars in the Heavens. He did such a great job everyone sung his praises. One evening as he was preparing to place the stars in the Heavens he got caught up in listening to his admirers and the sun when down. When he realized he was late he grabbed his ladder, his bucket of stars, and rushed up to the Heavens. As he stepped off the ladder at the top he tripped and fell making the milky way. -Just a little Native American Lore to help you appreciate this wonderful piece of history, art, and culture. This piece is in Mint condition The work is detailed and exquisite. The frame is rough wood and the glass is "glass" not plexiglass. Shipping for this piece is $500 with the real glass. $150 with the glass removed. Shipping is within the continental USA only for this price. Shipping outside the continental USA can be arranged. Local Pick Up is available.
