 Offering Continuing Education for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and/or LCSWs .
Online classes and workshops held at Lincoln Counseling Center, 898 5th Street, Lincoln, CA 95648. Courses meet the qualifications for specified hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Refunds are given if the course is canceled. Enrollment fee can be refunded or transferred to another class with 30 day notice prior to scheduled class.
Online classes are interactive. Self-study and electronic courses differ only in the way the testing is administered. If the student submits the test answers through the mail or email, the CE hours are considered self-study. Hours earned with interactive online testing are considered regular CE hours. Our online testing allows you to complete regular hours required for license renewal. Self-study is limited to one-half of the total required hours for renewal. You can check the specifics of the criteria at www.bbs.ca.gov.

CEU-Experiential Sand Tray World Play This class offers personal experience in sand tray as a client and as a counselor. You will experience the power of this modality, practice holding the safe space for a client, and create a world of your own. Included; history of sand tray, the items and categories to set up a sand tray area, and a format to facilitate the sand tray world play experience. Given in two sessions, level one and level two. Each level is 4 CEUs.

CEU-Play Therapy Workshop Play therapy allows the child to address problems in a safe environment. Processing trauma through play therapy can allow the child to heal. Symbolic problems can be created and solved giving the child skills for life outside of the therapy session. This course teaches how to connect with parents and child. Included; play, anger management, sand tray, art, and the difference in therapy from three years to teens. 4 CEUs
